Philosophy

It is a fact that the most marginalized members of society have the most frequent interactions with our justice system. Our team is highly sensitive to issues regarding poverty, mental health, substance dependency, and injustices pertaining to race, gender, or sexual identity. Andrew J Coulthard, Trial Lawyer

After being selected for a Judicial Internship at the NB Court of Appeal and working with the NB Ombud, Andrew articled at Myers, Karp, Patey & Neurauter in downtown Vancouver where he also began his practice following his call to the Bar in January 2020.

Andrew continues to practice in the Downtown East Side of Vancouver as a Criminal Defence Litigator. He has appeared at all levels of court in the Lower Mainland, BC, and has represented clients elsewhere in Canada such as Saskatchewan, Alberta, Ontario, and Quebec.
